Hailing from a village in Western Ghats of Karnataka, I have natural love for Mountains, Waterfalls and Forests. I started trekking from January of 2008 and have never looked back. Kudremukh Trek  Standing tall at an altitude of 1895 meters MSL, Kudremukh is a Moderate-Difficult trek in Mudigere Taluk of Chikmagalur Dist. Kudremukh peak lies inside Kudremukh National Park, a Tiger reserve and wildlife sanctuary. Permission from Range Forest Office (RFO) and a guide accompanying you is a must to trek inside the WLS. Permissions are usually given from 1st May to 31st December. Permissions can be directly acquired from RFO, Kudremukh Office. Base camp, Mullodi is 6km from Balgal.
