"Cats" is Aarya's favourite book! The book has a pic of 100s of cats doing various activities which she calls ತರ್ಲೆ. Aarya has special love for cats and she used to say meowbekku beka as soon as she would wake up and would want to see neighbour's cats. She used to do this until October as it was still warm and the cats would play in the backyard. Now she loves this book and wants her mother to read it to her. What astonishes me is she almost knows each cat's activity in that book. Aarya is now 15 months and remembers 100s of things and speaks those words. Well, that's for another blog. She says “ತರ್ಲೆ ಬೆಕ್ಕು ಬುಕ್ಕು ಬೇಕ” in one sentence which is a tongue twister for most of us but she says without a mistake. 😅 Yesterday she took a cat plush toy from her Gijja's house. I'll have to wait and see how she plays with it. PS: she doesn't know to say ಬೇಕು yet. We ask her ಬೇಕಾ and she answers ಬೇಕ to affirm that she wants.
